In Loving Memory of Dr. Rene Cintron

It is with great sadness to share with you the news of the passing of Dr. René Cintrón, LCTCS Chief Education and Training Officer, and our MEP of Louisiana lead at the system office. He was quick with a kind word, compassionate and genuine.  His respect for people was always apparent and easily folded into the fabric of his professionalism.  He guided the charge to complete the integration of our Center within the college network, fostering a statewide presence to aid manufacturers, while pushing for educational attainment for everyone he encountered.  Over the last two years, with René’s leadership, LCTCS MEP of LA has successfully rebranded and integrated within the Louisiana Community Technical College System and embraced the Community College workforce departments as a means of supporting manufacturers throughout the state.  While we mourn the passing of René, we ask that you keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during this time.  ow.ly/6M6b50H5sKB
