A Look Back at Manufacturing Summit 2018

Annually, the Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) of Louisiana partners with the Natchitoches Community Alliance (NCA) and Northwestern State University to host both the Northwest Louisiana and the Central Louisiana Manufacturing Manager’s Councils for a summit to focus on areas of timely concern.  In 2016, the focus was on increased technical training with an emphasis on on-the-job training; thus was born the AMT concept; in 2017, we focused more on work-based learning.

This year’s event featured a stellar agenda of speakers on Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0!

A record crowd of more than 85 attendees came together representing industry and educational partners from around central and north Louisiana.  Review the agenda below, as well as access documents from the event.
