Delivering Measurable Results

THE MEP PROGRAM

The National Institute of Standards and Technology’s Hollings Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) works with small and mid-sized U.S. manufacturers to help them create and retain jobs, increase profits, and save time and money.

As a program of the U.S. Department of Commerce, MEP offers a range of effective resources to help manufacturers identify opportunities that will accelerate and strengthen their growth and competitiveness in the global marketplace.  The Manufacturing Extension Partnership of Louisiana (MEPOL) is the MEP Center in Louisiana.

Facts In Numbers

MEPOL delivers measurable results to its clients. The services provided lead to improvement in client sales, investments, and cost savings, as well as increased and retained employment.

From 2010 to 2014, MEPOL surveyed 175 clients on 288 projects.

The data is collected by an independent third party contracted by NIST MEP to conduct surveys six months after completion of a project.
